I hate to even post not anon..but I am so anxious to find out about the
medication my Dr just put me on for OsteoArth, called Mobic. It worked
fairly well, but I soon found out it costs (the cheapest I could find)
was 30 7.5mg for $89 ..GOOD GRIEF ..and I can take 2 a day. I can't
afford that. Even if I get the 15mg and cut them in half :(  It is still
way too expensive. Does anyone know a next best med ? and, sorry to ask
this ..but I noticed that Canada already has the generic .. any one
ordered that .?. from where ?
I'm sorry ..but I'm elderly and on a very fixed income
and would't you know .. this is the first med that seems to help : (
            thank you very much ....

I have purchased medications several times from the Canadian Drug Store.
http://www.tcds.com
I never had a problem with them or with delivery.  The listed price for 100
generic Mobic 7.5 mg  (Mobicox) is $77.15 plus shipping
"Express 3 to 5 Business Day Delivery

Our express delivery service offers a tracking number for all packages. The
cost per package is $14 regardless of the number of prescriptions you
purchase.  You would get #100 tablets for about $91 instead of thirty."

I used to buy Prilosec (Losec) and Celexia from TCDS until the generics
became available in the U.S.A.  American generics are usually cheaper than
their Canadian brothers.  I have some other website addresses that I have
not purchased anything from.  One web pharmacy is in Israel.

I have no financial connection to the above mentioned pharmacy.

thank you very much .. cked it out and from what I've figured out is
that I can order 100 15 mg tablets (which are scored,I believe..I hope)
of Mobicox for $115 US .. split them in half and that way I'd have 200
7.5mg tabs ..and just do the math ... vs 30 -7.5tab Mobic for about $90
.. I'll be seeing my Dr Next week and have him FAX the script from his
office.
I knew it was coming to this ..and I pay for ALL my meds out
of pocket :(
             thanks again

I have received patient assistance on drugs since I was low-income at the
time (student). I had to take Keppra, and I got it for free. Just contact
the drug manufacturer & see what patient assistance programs they have. Your
doc will write a 6 month Rx for you & send that to the manufacturer after
you fill out a short application for the drug(s). If you're low-income,
check it out. A good friend of my family pointed that out to me cuz she was
on it for some diabetes Rx.
It got me free drugs, and saved me a lot of heartache.
