Hi

I hate flying and someone suggested to me to take some valium before
the flight - so doc gave me some 2mg ... I am a big guy 300lb and
wondering other peoples experiences.  How long would you take before
the flight leaves ? How many would you take on 18hour flight (I assume
2?) depending on how I feel.  What will it make me feel like ? Will I
just sleep ? or that feeling when you are drunk when you could not care
less about anything ?

Any comments would be great ...

Thanks

If you're driving to the airport, don't take the valium at home
because you don't know how you will initially react to it. You
don't want to end up a statistic.

You will most
likely get drowsy and feel emotionally relaxed.  Valium doesn't reek as much
havoc to your brain as does alcohol.

Valium will last a day or two in your system...so initially take
one just before your flight...it should only take 20-30 minutes to kick in.
And if your not totally zonked, and you
like the sensation of being drugged, take a few more... :-)

Good luck...remember to buy lots of flight insurance....hehehe.
