Quetiapine Fumarate is an atypical antipsychotic thats just come out
recently. It needs to be used for a period of time before all the
side effects become apparent. It does cause sleepiness but its in a
class of drugs that may be dangerous. Restoril and Dalmane have long
been used and the side effects are well known. If someone needs
Seroquel for another reason or the Doc thinks it might help some other
symptom, the doctor might try Seroqual.

I posted about marijuana use for my Insomnia , my doc was giving me 100mg. of
seroquel , I've been tod that I was tuning into a zombie .
I've stopped taking that crap ,found a new doc,ad am going to a sleeo cinic
.Because I was on Seroquel my former doc took blood samples to look for liver
damage ,plus i had to have my eyes checked for cataracts
twice a year . After getting off seroquel, ifeel tired because of the insomnia
, but I feel alive,ad not in a stuppor state .
If are seeing demons ,or if you feel the FBI is going to killyou ,then
seroquel has it's proper uses.but Insomnia ,forget it !!!
