I have a bottle of Zinc Drink with these active ingredients:
- Zinc sulphate 50mg
- Magnesium chloride 20.75mg
- Pyridoxine hydrochloride 2.5mg
(per 1ml)
The expiry date on the bottle is 5 years ago (November 2000).
However, assuming these compounds are stable, then they should remain viable
"forever".
For example, what's the expiry date of salt (Sodium chloride)? A meaningless
concept.
Have I missed something, and is there really any problem with taking this
supplement 5 years after the "expiry date"?
TIA,
RR

There is an expiration date for a reason.
There is no guarantee that this drug is still active.
