Sorry to bother, but I seem to have a problem with my news reader or
server. I can read my own posts on my local server, but wonder if they
are getting propagated out as I suddenly see no responses to anything
I've written on several groups. Is there any way to know or test this?

Thanks for any info.

Don't know about the others...this one posted fine...
I use several newsgroup client software applications,
depending on the operating system.  In DOS, I use a
couple of commandline utilities, freeware, with a
BATCH program file I wrote to handle reading and
posting...I also use Trumpet News Reader for DOS.
In Windows 3.11, I prefer NX, NewsXpress..also a
freeware application...in Win9X, I used to use WinVN,
Windows Visual News, freeware...but have since changed
to using NX while booted to Win95 also!  In a real
desperate situation, I have used Outlook Express...
however, I much prefer NX because it is quite a bit
quicker, and much smaller!  Overall, I spend probably
90 percent of my time on these newsgroups using DOS...
about 50 percent of that time is with Trumpet.
