Hello,
Is there any sort of resource online for identifying pills by
their appearance?
More exactly, I'm trying to find possible candidates for the
following::
A prescription pill, year 1970, colored black with a dark-greenish
tinge, triangular in shape, approximately 3/8-1/2 inch per side.
May or may not be endocrine related, all possibilities entertained.
If anyone can help, I'd be most grateful.

Hello there,
An old copy of Physician's Desk Reference or Compendium of Drug Therapy
might be helpful. Atarax (25mg?) was suggested although those tablets were
kind of small. Feosol(r) tablets (ferrous sulfate) are a dark green coated
tablet and a bit bigger but it's a stretch to consider it an "endocrine"
drug. It could have been a product that's no longer on the market. 1970
is a bit before my time... I don't think any of the Triavil(r) strengths
were the color you were seeking.
Hope this helps,
