Generic viagra is not even available.
Maybe you are refering to *counterfeit* and those that buy counterfeit and
outlaw drugs usually don't give a rat's a$$ what a doctor or any other
health professional says about drugs.

Viagra itself is only a treatment for not a *cure* for ED

Many retail brick and mortar pharmacies in our area, including mine,
dispense genuine brand name Viagra for less than $12 per dose.

Since Viagra is to treat impotence you are telling me that the drug causes
what it is supposed to treat? That is the perfect drug, it causes a medical
problem and then it treats it.
It looks like a lot of it will soon be available from China if the news
stories are correct. Anyone know a Chinese internet drug site in English?

This sounds like BS. I have used generic or counterfeit Viagra for 2
years & it works just the same as viagra. When bought by the 100 count
& cut into 3 or 4 pieces, the net cost is about .75 per dose. A huge
savings. I have no doubt that there could be scammers, but if you go to
a large RX in india or Mexico I feel comfortable with it.

I had the same thought. Probably what they're referring to is the fact
that generic drugs don't have to be as precisely measured as brand-name
drugs. That is, the generic Viagra, for example, would only have to
have 80 mg of active ingredient in a 100 mg pill. If it had 120 mg, it
might be harmful, I suppose. But I doubt it.
Perhaps the counterfeit Viagra sold in other countries is even less
precisely measured. But even then, I can't see it causing impotence.
It could cause a heart attack, or some other cardiovascular event; but
impotence?
On the other hand, if it contained impurities, or other products
instead of Viagra, who knows what the sequelae might be.
But yeah, it does sound like scare tactics.

Lets see: Viagra or a generic equivalent is only approved to treat
impotence. It would then be taken to treat impotence. How can a drug cause
a condition that already exists in a patient?
