Prilosec OTC is shorted while Nexium DTC ads are increased tenfold -
including coupons in major newspapers.
And Prilosec OTC ads have slowed to a crawl.
Hmmmm......

I'm pretty sure Prilosec OTC is a revenue disappointment, as it costs about
1/4 of the RX price. They know that nobody will buy a box labeled $120.
However, their willingness to cut the price so sharply shows how big their
margins are, doesn't it?
