Hello:

Can someone give me the correct proportions of salt, sugar and water,
used to avert dehydration due to diarrhoea?

Please rely by e-mail as well as posting.

Thank you.
George Nole.

Use prepared stuff like Pedialyte to replace electrolytes orally.
Pedialyte contains water, salt, dextrose, and citrates of potassium and
sodium, so I suppose you could mix these up yourself in the same
proportions to duplicate it.

Gatorade or Powerade mixed 50:50 with water (boiled then cooled) is a close
approximation to things like Pedialyte.
