As with all things medical, talk openly to your doctor for individual
assessment of your needs - don't rely solely on newsgroups or the internet!

Oh ..I agree .. no one should rely on Inet alone for advice ..but ,sometimes,
reading someone else's experiences (albeit, medicine is an individual thing)
does give another reader a clue !

there are great individual differences and it may have to go by trial and
error if this is a key issue. Miansarin has been known to cause spontaneous
orgasm in females during yawning, but this is not a reason to take this
medication.

Each person is different and so responds to each medication
differently. I had performance problems on both Zoloft & Prozac. It
wasn't so much the inability to get into the game, but knocking one
out of the stadium became quite difficult. I have been on Serzone for
a couple of years now with no side-effect issues of any kind in any
area. However, it is my understanding that they have stopped
manufacture of the drug and once current inventories run out that will
be all she wrote for that drug.

Celexa (Citalopram) seems to have very few side-effects.

Agreed. As does Lexapro (escitalopram).

I currently take Lexapro. It works well for me. Prior to that I took
Effexor XR (SNRI) for years. It also worked well for me before it
*pooped out*.
My psychiatrist suggested both and his judgment was fine both times.
However what works for one person, may not work for another.
