It is amazing what these people will give thumbs up to.
Fuddies, fools, and flops should be their family names.
Their recommendation are so bad, ask blindly here on
the Usenet would likely provide more useful insights.

See article on topic. The article is neutral as I dimly recall it.

Have just checked out the site you mentioned, supplementscompared.com,
it seems to be fairly impartial, however you can never be sure with
these sorts of things! A forum would help a lot as I would like to
hear from people who have actually taken the supplement, maybe this
could be something for the future. Still, it's a good start as there
are so many different products out there it's useful to have them all
together in one place.

Keep up the good posts, always interesting!

Supplementscompared.com has been set up to help consumers when
choosing a supplement from the estimated 20,000 available and, as
stated on the funding statement and in the article linked to, all
profits from the site go to charity.

All products are assessed by a panel of medical and nutritional
experts against quality benchmarks based on government advice and
scientific research and each review evaluates the likelihood of each
product delivering the intended benefits for which it is designed.

In time, all products available to consumers will be assessed, free of
charge, although manufacturers have the opportunity to pay a fee to
cover the panel's expenses and "fast track" their review on the
understanding that the expert panel's decision is final and that,
whatever the outcome, the review will be posted on the site.

I disagee with them. Nor do they say enough to sway me.
They are dubious in that they are spouting dated conventional
wisdom, IMO as I recall it. Why don't just state what
they think is an ideal formula?

Neutral or not, that "nutraingredients.com" site drives me nuts.  I had
to disable Javascript to avoid its animations.

Yes, they do have a point of view by way of selection
of articles though their tone is pretty neutral.
Nutraingerdients is still a useful site.

The other site, isn't much and for those who
education themselves is largely useless.
It designers seem think their judgements
should be treated as having merit; whereas,
they fail to make their case for this presumption
on our parts.....the potential users of the site, IMO.

Some of this is silly. 2 milligrams of CoQ in a
"heart health formula" LOL

One tiny microgram of B-12, even for an RDA/RDI
formula that is too little. For a number of reasons.

Nor do the reveiwers note the forms of the vitamins
for example racemic vitamin E and rrr vitamin E.
Nor have some of the makers apparently even heard of
gamma tocopherol etc...sneer.

Too little vitamin D even a low level supplement should
1000 IU in foggy old Great Britain, IMO and in the
view of some Canadian professionals.

Even a low level B formula should contains 3 milligrams
of B-6.

And inositol and methyl group contributor levels are
so low as to be simply silly.

Etc, etc.

The good thing about the site is it so dull, it should
collapse due to own drab weight given a few years
when people see it doesn't result in more sales.
