My husband is taking antibiotics 2x a day with meals

When should he take the probiotics -- it's a live culture llike
yogurt?
Dr. Weil recommends to take them with meals but then they would be
fighting the ANTIBIOTICS! Does anybody have a suggestion?
Thanks!

Think about this ..
Some antibiotics are not to be taken with iron supplements ..
Iron from meat is absorbed at a higher rate than the iron from your
plants.
The iron from meat binds to other iron ingested at the same time and
causes it too to be absorbed at a higher rate.
Since all of our floured products are supplemented / fortified with
iron .. would this high iron meat diet and the fortified floured diet
NOW .. affect your antibiotics .. ability .. ?

Change up time ..
Take the antibiotics AWAY from the meal and then you don't have to
worry about taking the antibiotics with the probiotics because the
probiotic is taken with the meal and the antibiotic .. isn't.

Therefore ruling out whether the high iron meal is going to affect the
antibiotic.

Consumption
During antibiotic therapy, taking probiotics as well keeps the
intestinal flora in proper balance. They can be taken together, but
not at the same time of day. In order for the probiotics to be the
most effective, they should be taken at least two hours after each
dose of antibiotic. When the treatment has been completed, double or
triple the probiotic supplements for about ten days or two weeks.
Probiotics should be taken with food or shortly after eating as food
dilutes the stomach acids enough for them to survive their trip
through to the intestines where they belong.
