Dr. Suzanne Gudakunst says "the reason you can't lose weight has
nothing to do with will-power, over-eating or the right diet!. . . The
reason you are fat and unhealthy is because you have disgusting plaque
and horrible little critters living in your guts?" She goes on to say
that she can show you how to get rid them and lose 10 to 100 pounds or
more and keep it off for ever. She shows you pictures of this plaque
and parasites. She has produced two products to help you remove and
eliminate these problems from your system forever. If you have tried
everything else to lose weight and nothing has worked this maybe the
reason why.

I don't have any trouble loosing weight. All you have to do is STOP
eating all day long. And, get off your arse every once and a while.

I think lardies need to admit, like alcoholics do, that they have lost
control and are greedy and/or lazy.

Control over what? Why should some people need "control"?
Haven't you ever felt that you've simply had enough to eat, regardless
of "willpower" or "discipline"?
"Greed" and "sloth" are fine concepts in theology; Thomas Aquinas
identified them as among the seven deadly sins. But they don't help at
all in understanding overeating. Nor can it be "control" that explains
why healthy people find a meal satisfying.
But why do *some* people feel satisfied consuming enough calories to
cover their needs -- but other people (up to half the population!),
after eating more than they need, still feel hungry?
I'm convinced there are problems with a mechanism sometimes called the
"appestat" -- whatever tells people they've had enough and leaves them
feeling satisfied.
Trying to make overeaters feel guilty is an ineffective and cruel thing
to do!
