How much 5-HTP should I take?

None. It just doesn't do what you want it to do. I tried L-Tryptophan
too, that doesn't work either. It should, the science is all there,
but it doesn't deliver.

Inositol DOES seem to be helping me though..

Taking 1,500 mg daily.

That is a tiny dose of inositol. Ten or twelve times that now that is
would be
a dose. Did you do the Pubmed search I suggested on myo-inositol and
panic attacks?

That's interesting, because fasting raises cortisol, allowing your body
to cope with stress responses better, and lowers insulin levels, which
interfere with cortisol production and delivery to cells.

Folks who are adrenally suppressed frequently feel anxious and/or panicky.
