And I'm doing my own version of it now with "junk food" that is rich
in SFAs, low in UFAs, and also low in cholesterol (due to possible
oxidized cholesterol). So far, I've seen no negative aspects to it.
The only SFA-rich issue I had was with ice cream, actually. I found
that I put on a few pounds in the mid region, but that may have been
due to eating too many calories overall. No other dairy product has
had that effect on me. Now I've been eating more calories due to the
"junk food" (Little Debbie, Mrs. Freshley, America's Choice, Stop &
Shop cookies, etc.), I should have seen some mid region weight gain,
but I've seen no weight gain, so I'm wondering what's in the ice
cream. It was Breyer's "natural vanilla." I stopped eating it
entirely when they started putting beans in it, but I cut back on it
after the weight gain. Looks like some "junk food" is fine, at least
"in moderation."

I'll suggest if these products contain dried milk,
they will have oxysterols. Further, the level
of simple sugars in these foods is quite high so
this should help to develop Monty's insulin
resistance.
