I read recently that Salba which is some kind of vegetation seen
occasionally as greenery on these clay Chia animal dolls   that
you see in stores is somekind of miracle food-drug that evidently is
good for you in so many ways....lowers BP, helps this and that and
what not.....I think it is also available in some Health Food Stores
as a kind of flatbread or something like that.

Anybody know anything about it ? Is this research finding for real or
is it just another of these phony miracle food-drug reports   that
corporations create with the compliance of unscrupulous groups ?

Thanks

Thanks for that but I was really wondering what people know and
believe to be true and verifiable about the many claims being made
that Salvia hispanica is a kind of wonder-drug food that controls High
Blood Pressure and has evidently many other health
advantages........Are those claims for real ? .....and if so how can
you buy Salvia hispanica in an edible form other than the flatbread
biscuits made by Salba.....?

It's just chia seeds and the main nutritional ingredient is the omega
3 fatty acid ALA. Arizonachia is a lower cost provider with less hype.
You can get the same benefit(ALA) from flax, canola oil, hemp seeds,
and walnuts.

Fish oil with the omega 3 fatty acids DHA and EPA has even better
results because that is the form the body uses, but may be more
expensive.
