Hi All,
This is my first posting to this group and I hope I can draw on the
vast experience. I have a 6yr old son who we have just had an IgG 93
food sensitivity panel done on due to his hyperactivity. It came back
with showing 2 - 4+ for wheat, barley, oats, buckwheat, yeast, cow's
milk, goat's milk, sheep's milk, soya bean, rice, eggs, lentils -
there were also others of 1+. The one thing my son has conveyed to me
is that he see's colour's (red, green and blue) either all together or
one or two at a time. He thinks that when he see's the colours that he
goes a bit "crazy" - his way of describing his hyperactivity. His
teacher states that academically he can do all his work "standing on
his head" which often is what he does in class - doing backward rolls
and sitting under the desk. Does anyone have advice on what to feed my
son - he was brought up on goat's milk and has been drinking large
amounts of soy milk as he would always get cold-like symptoms with
cow's milk. I am seeing his doctor tomorrow and will probably get a
referral to a dietician. We just want our son to be healthy and happy
and at the same time decrease his hyperactivity and problems at
school.
Thanks.

I doubt a dietition will help, but you might want to find a clinical
ecologist in your area.  Unlike conventional immunologists, these M.D.s
treat food allergies very effectively.

I know of two severely hyper and behaviorally impossible kids (one my
nephew, one a friend) who were helped dramatically by such testing and
treatment.
