No one should be interested in these "treatments." They are potentially
dangerous and don't work.

Hi Jeff,

I'm just wondering why you feel yoga and learning about how to eat
gluten free is dangerous?

These "treatments" are prescribed by whom? Some for profit company?

This detox has what medical science to back it up?

This is just ripping off people to make money.

Dear Jeff
I ran into your message quite accidentally while researching about
some details on 'Yoga' and thought of sharing some of my findings.
I've read at 'http://www.medical-health-care-information.com/Health-
living/yoga/index.asp'
that  yoga is interpreted as either:
1) A demanding fitness program that stretches and strengthens the
spine, tones the body and develops a sense of well being within
2) A way of learning to relax, de-stress and practice breathing
techniques that increase lung capacity, work the cardiovascular system
and allow the individual to cope with the ups and downs of modern
life.
I hope the above is of some help to you as well. Regards, Sherrybove

Thanks Sherrybove, Jeff and Don. I'll work on writing more technical
info and not ads...didn't realize that was such a faux pas. With
regard to detoxing and it's benefits, our Registered Nutritionist will
be speaking with the group about several different detoxs, why some
are better than others and most basically, teaching people how to
incorporate healthy eating habits into their every day lifestyle. I'll
see if our nutritionist can write a bit more :)

Excellent. That will make you a valued contributor to our newsgroup.

I totally agree. But that doesn't mean that the original ad belongs in this
newsgroup.

Does for-profit status automatically disqualify a treatment? How do
you then explain all the for-profit treatments from the medical and
pharmaceutical industry? They must all be scammers. Hey, that is your
logic, not mine.

> This detox has what medical science to back it up?

Oh, so we need medical science to give it legitimacy, do we? But what
about industry sponsored science/marketting? Does that confer
legitimacy?

You've just described most doctors and all pharmaceutical companies.

Thanks for the support TC. I strongly believe in the healing powers of
yoga, proper nutrition and other alternative therapies because they
have worked for me. My goal is to provide a service for others to
experience this type of healing should they choose. Nothing is fool
proof for anyone, but should these therapies work for others, I'll be
excited to have assisted in their healing process.

First you are spamming. You posted an ad in multiple non-commerical
newsgroups. Non-commercial means no advertisements!

Yoga and learning more about eating gluten-free are okay, the thing that
has no place (even if it weren't an ad) is your promoting "health
detoxifications" in a "sci" newsgroup.
