d-mannose and dental adhesion

I've read about d-mannose as being effective for dealing with e-coli
problems...  it works by interfering with e-coli adhesion...

are there any normal human cell interactions that d-mannose can
interfere with ?   dental adhesion (gums), for example.

thoughts ?

Do search using the medline search enjine using that name.  Look at the
older research because such things are often among the first things
tested.
