Condoms 'too big' for Indian men
By Damian Grammaticus
BBC News, Delhi

There is a "lack of awareness" over condom sizes
A survey of more than 1,000 men in India has concluded that condoms
made according to international sizes are too large for a majority of
Indian men.

The study found that more than half of the men measured had penises
that were shorter than international standards for condoms.

It has led to a call for condoms of mixed sizes to be made more widely
available in India.

The two-year study was carried out by the Indian Council of Medical
Research.

Representative

Over 1,200 volunteers from the length and breadth of the country had
their penises measured precisely, down to the last millimetre.

The scientists even checked their sample was representative of India as
a whole in terms of class, religion and urban and rural dwellers.

The problem affects HIV prevention

The conclusion of all this scientific endeavour is that about 60% of
Indian men have penises which are between three and five centimetres
shorter than international standards used in condom manufacture.

Doctor Chander Puri, a specialist in reproductive health at the Indian
Council of Medical Research, told the BBC there was an obvious need in
India for custom-made condoms, as most of those currently on sale are
too large.

The issue is serious because about one in every five times a condom is
used in India it either falls off or tears, an extremely high failure
rate.

And the country already has the highest number of HIV infections of any
nation.

Mr Puri said that since Indians would be embarrassed about going to a
chemist to ask for smaller condoms there should be vending machines
dispensing different sizes all around the country.

"Smaller condoms are on sale in India. But there is a lack of awareness
that different sizes are available. There is anxiety talking about the
issue. And normally one feels shy to go to a chemist's shop and ask for
a smaller size condom."

*********

Interesting. 80.5% of the population of India is Hindu which advocates
a vegetarian diet. Connection?

hmmmm.......

Many of us here have chosen to ignore John due to his comments in this
and other ng's. If you wish to learn more about why we have taken this
extreme decision visit www.naturalhealthperspective.net

While I congraulate the person who set this site up, it is in no way
connected to me.

What?  A web site about condom size?  You just got to have a better
life than that.

It is summer in Austrialia.  Why don't you use it, Dick Head?

Oh, by the way this Dick head is a Web Developer with no business
clients and no life.  Ergo, he has too much time on his hands.

So, scam some naive sucker into screwing up their web site.

This turkey is mad at me because my web site is currently #9 in Google
for the "natural health" key word.  Has been for over a month.  Why?
Because I didn't take his stupid advice.

Exact results will very due to Google's use of 100's of different data
centers.  But, I have been in the top 10 for quite a while.  :)

This ng sucks so much that I have been stirring things up in the Google
Website Help group.  I have been telling these turkies how to SEO their
sites.  Somebody has to do it, since this turkey doesn't have a clue as
to what he is doing. :(

Remember that these people are the very same Slime-Buckets sending out
all the SPAM email on the Internet promoting /scamming their business
web sites.  They do NOT have any ethics.

Summer in Brisbane - hmmm what a part of the world - I have travelled
most of the world, but would never consider living anywhere other than
Queensland - beautiful one day, perfect the next.

Just for everyone else - no point reponding directly to john - as he
says in his last post - he is only here to stir people up.

I work on the basis that the value of my services must exceed the costs
I charge. For this reason I regularly refer work to other designers -
if I feel a site does not have a good online business model and will
never be likely to make a return on ranking well, I will not do the
work - I would call this the highest example of good ethics.

Hits for my most popular search phrase comes mostly from Australia.  I
am #2 on that keyword.  I was #2 on that one even before I started my
SEO work. :)

I am here because it is winter.  You are here because you are
fundamentally a sh.t head with not eough business to keep you busy.

My site is still #9.

He who laughs last, laughs best.

Let's all continue to ignore a guy who is abusive and just plain
delusional - here is the link to the SERP showing his site ranking 43rd
in the Australian data centre
http://www.google.com.au/search?q=natural+health&hl=en&lr=&start=40&sa=N

Remember, this is the guy responsible for all the comments that are

Hey, I noticed that.

Even though I receive visitors from over 120 different counties every
30 days, the only Google that I am really interested in is Google.com.

Besides I have a half dozen other web pages in the pipeline, that
should put me in the top 20 at least in Australia.

And, like I said Australia accounts for most of my hits for my most
popular keyword.

If you are ignoring him, why are you responding to him and listing
repeatedly the url to his idiotic site? You are either as stupid as him
or you are him. Jackass.

TC - follow the link I listed - it is not to his idiotic site - It is
to a site that was created by one of the regulars in here to expose
John's racism and attititudes.
