Actually no. Not billions. Not even millions. Nor even thousands or
hundreds.

In fact NO-ONE has historically eaten soy products except in small
amounts and only as FERMENTED CONDIMENTS.

Fermenting neutralizes phyto-toxins and phyto-estrogens to a great
degree. And soy has only been eaten as flavouring agents or condiments
which means in small amounts.

It was an American who first proposed using soy as a food item and a
source of protetn and he failed to convince Asians of the concept. He
then came back to America and started the fallacy that Asians use it as
a staple and that it had miraculous health properties. Good marketting,
but it doesn't do anything to actually make soy a real food for humans.

Soy is not real food.
