I have heard that digest tea helps in healthy digestion .what exactly
is digest tea ? Can anyone give the details of it ?

Digest  tea is the refreshing way to end your  meal , or snack or
anytime your stomach needs comforting . It promotes healthy digestion
by combining herbs used in traditional European herbal teas that
support the gastrointestinal, biliary and digestive tracts . this tea
is made of peppermint  leaf, sweet fennel seed, ginger rhizome, rose
hip, papaya leaf, alfalfa leaf, cinnamon bark.

Please provide peer-reviewed evidence that it works/

It is a misnomer. "Tea" is properly used to describe only the commonly drunk
beverage made from an infusion of leaves from the bush named Camellia
sinensis. When various other different herbs/spices are instead used to make
the infusion, the proper name of that beverage is called a tisane (check the
pronunciation).

There is a newsgroup dedicated to the discussion of herbs named
own.health.herbs where you can learn about various tisanes for digestion
and/or detoxification.

In other words,  you offer no evidence that the tea does anything to help
the body.

I'm not making any health claims, but what help are you?
Marshall Price - 26 May 2006 20:16 GMT
That's preposterous!  It's true he offers no such evidence, but when you
begin by saying "in other words", you imply that what follows is a
restatement of what he said.

That obvious misrepresentation undermined your credibility very
efficiently.  Is that what you wanted?
