I've been trying to contact the above company for weeks: all that I get
is a phone message that the office is temporarily closed. Anybody know
what the deal is with this UK company, or got any experience of them?

Marion here used to work with them years ago, before Mark Varey retired.
They no longer do the sort of detailed help she provides, and now go for
a cheap one-size-fits-all approach.  They mostly do ELISA tests, which
do have a role but are of more theoretical than practical help for most
people.

Anyway, I just called them and spoke to somebody who didn't think
they'd ever had a problem like the one you describe, so they are
still going.  01904 410 410 in the UK, (+44) 904 410 410 outside.
What number were you trying and where dod you get it?

Thanks Jack

Those are the numbers I used - as shown on the web site. I got the
"temporarily closed" message on both numbers. The calls were made in
normal office hours - something I have difficulty in doing - but will
try again asap!
