I read in an article that the best way to prevent weight gain (not
promote weight loss) is to weight yourself everyday and chart your
weight on a graph paper.
Can anyone see a problem doing this. I've been doing this for the past
2 weeks (haven't lost weight) but i can see it being a very good way to
PREVENT weight gain. Any thoughts, please.

How about this? Everyday change the scale of your
chart so that your weight-versus-time curve slopes
down. Another thing you might try is to support some
of your weight by leaning on a chair when you weigh
yourself. Everyday support a little more of your weight
on the chair, and your scale will show that you're losing
weight everyday. : o )

You may want to check with the Evangelical Center
for Faith-Based Science. According to their latest
research, there is no such thing as gravity--There is
just Intelligent Pressing Down. When you weigh
yourself, God pushes down on you to cause the
force on the scale. By praying to God not to press
down on you so hard, you will lose weight. I hope
this helps.

its a phychologic thing.
if you see your weight gain before you on a sheet of paper you will be more
aware of changes and can counteract them more quickly. of course it doesn't
change your weight in any way per se... your eating does.

I guess it isnt the best, but do you its an effective tool to help your
eating. Dont know how many people weigh themselves on a consistent
basis but it seemed effective.
People don't seem to baloon in weight when they consistently get on the
scale, or is this just a mith?
thanks for the post, bye the way.
