Not a shock at all.
Their products are usually much more expensive than competing brand and
the portion sizes are often smaller. And, if you order from thier
catalog (the only place to get some items) you have to pay $7.95
shipping on top of the high prices and they usually only offer a
discount when your order is $100 or more.
Greed did them in. Their own fault.

Plus, it didn't help that high fat diets are calorically dense, and
it's very easy to eat enough of that kind of food to get really fat. :)
