Frisk sees a chance at the presidency and now does a 180 turn about stem
cell research.

It's not like he just saw the light or anything. He's an M.D. He always knew
every side of this issue.

But now because the polls are posting over 60% in favor of federally funded
stem cell research, he suddenly changes his mind.

Politicians never change. Apparently he did not go into politics for the
reasons he originally stated but for power & ego just like all the rest.

Regardless of whether one is for or against stem cell research, this is just
repugnant.

It's more repugnant to put healthcare under politicians as Canada does.
In the US we can minimize the repugnant politicians by limiting their power
and not by giving more power.
