This ClubEqual Sweetner says that the
sweetner has 8kJ (2 Cal) per serve of 1 level teaspoon (0.5g)
than it compares it to sugar, that says it has 68kJ (16 Cal) per serve
of 1 level teaspoon.
But when I look on the sugar packet, it says it has 68kJ (16 Cal) per
serve of 1 level teaspoon (4g).

Is the sweetner still 8 times less fatning than sugar. I dont
understand, they're comparing at wrong amounts (saying that 1 level
teaspoon is 0.5 g for ClubEqual Sweetner, and 4g for sugar_. Than when
you look per 100g, the sweetner isn't even 2 times less fatning than
sugar.

Also, is Splenda better than Equal? What are the nutritional factrs,
statistics, and how much time is Splenda and Equal less fatning than
sugar?

The sweetener is 8 times less dense than sugar; a teaspoon of it is 8
times lighter than a teaspoon of sugar.

100g of sweetener occupies a lot more volume than 100g of sugar (200
teaspoons worth as compared to 25).

The point is that one teaspoon of the stuff has the same sweetening power
of one teaspoon of sugar, so you get the same amount of sweetness for 1/8
the energy content.

So putting in 1/8 of a cup of Equal is equivalent to putting in 1 cup
of sugar? Also which is better Splenda or Equal?

So if a recipe ask for 2 cups of sugar, you can put in 1/4 of a cup of
Equal? Also which is better Splenda or Equal?

So there is 2 cal per teaspoon (for Equal). If there is 16 teaspoons in
1 cup, there is 4 teaspoons in a 1/4 cup (2 cal x 4 teaspoons). Which
means there is only 8 calories in an 1/4 cup of Equal (32 calories in 1
cup), as opposed to sugar, with 64 calories in 1/4 cup (256 calories in
1 cup). Is this correct?
