What happens if someone takes D-Arginine orally? (as oppposed to
L-Arginine)

Is D-Arginine poisonous like cavanine?

Thanks.

No. Your body will however be unable to assimilate it or metabolize it
into derivative amino acids. It is however difficult to obtain, by
comparison with L-Arg.
Incidentally, an excessive bodily level of L.Arg is a major contributing
factor in herpes simplex attacks, which is easily countered by L-Lysine
therapy.
