I've been taking Vitamin E as 200 IU of d-Alpha Tocopherol 3 times a
day (plus 45 IU in my multivitamin 1x day). I've been taking this for
a year or two now.
I'm planning on switching to a Mixed Tocopherol supplement, like
Jarrow Gamma E 300 that contains:
d-alpha Tocopherol 50 IU
Gamma Tocopherol 300 mg
Delta-tocopherol 100 mg
Beta-tocopherol 7 mg
I also take many other supplements, including idebenone and
n-acetyl-cysteine.
How many of the Gamma E 300 capsules would be good to take daily?
Once a day or twice a day? And would it be good to continue to take
some amount of the 200 IU d-Alpha Tocopherol capsules in addition to
the Gamma E?

Your liver recirculates d-Alpha Tocopherol. It will hang around in
your body for at least several days. Therefore, once a day for d-Alpha
Tocopherol is good enough.

The half-life of the Gamma versions of vitamin E is 12 hours.
Therefore, twice a day or once every 12 hours would be recommended.

No!
