It depends on how much vitamin C you are trying to take. For a dose of
1,000 or 2,000 mg. pills seem just fine. Some people need to take much
higher doses when fighting a particular illness. I take 10,000 mg per
day. That amount works well for me. When I tied to take so many
pills, my stomache felt queasy. There are binders in the pills which
probably caused that reaction. I have bought the powder which I mix
with juice. I am very happy with it. It is pure Vitamin C.

10,000 mg?! Holy sh*t! Did you know that's enough for more than 100
people?

I'll bet.

A serving (8 oz) of most commercial juice contains 120% of DV. Then if
you eat a baked potato, serving of brocolli, a green pepper, or a
citrus fruit during the rest of the day you're more than way over the
amount you need. So why waste your money popping C-pills? You're only
peeing it into the toilet.
