Unless I have been mislead, cholesterol comes from only animal
sources.
Draw your own conclusions. EFA blend including fish oil? Possible
process contamination? Error?

Well, I understand that new information has it that (very) small
amounts of cholesterol can be found in plant sources.
Still, as in the OP's case, 5% seems pretty damn much...

I think that they are confusing mg with g in their calculations.
Vegetable oils have between 0 and 5 mg per 100g, which makes it a
maximum of 0.005% cholesterol.

I have used flaxseed oil to fry. It always has a fishy odor.

me.
The details of the label on the flax oil is:
100ml contains:
Fat: 92g containing
Saturated: 8g
Monosaturated: 16g
Polysaturated: 63g
Cholesterol: 5mg
My new question is:
There is 87g of sats, momostats, and polysats out of 92g fats. What
are the 3g that are missing in the calculation?

As the flax seed oil is made a supplement oil, I guess it
hasn't been refined, bleached, winterized, or deodorized.
Processes that would remove gums, free fatty acids, pigments,
lecithin, terpenes. and miscellaneous nonsaponifiable materials which would
include phytosterols, phytol, carotenoids, xanthophyll pigments,
vitamins E and K. Most of these would be minor components.
So perhaps most of the 3 grams would primarily be glycerols.
