The recommended w3/w6 ratio is 1/1 -->2/1 as far as I can get this
information from the internet.
What is used to determine this figure?
Is it the ratio of w3/w6 in our membranes, or the rate of use of w3
and w6 to build and maintain these membranes?
Or is it by observation of health of people with different w3/w6
ratios in their diet?
What is the w3/w6 ratio in cell membranes?
And finally, what is the difference of w3/w6 ratios of the membranes
of different cells like bone and brain?
Lot of questions, but all related.
Thank you in advance for anybody that can enlighten me.

I don't have any info on your specific questions on membrane
structure but I have feeling that the following 56 page review of
PUFA Essentiality and Functions may be of general interest. Lists
226 references.
