Good soy - bad soy?

I have ordered some lecithin for a number of reasons. Along the
way, I have done some reading and into the controversy about whether
soy is good for you or whethe it is bad depenind on the type or form
of soy. I cant figure out what all the factors are. I guess if it
contains soy flour that is an issue. Could someone one offer me an
opinon please on whether the lecithin that I got from BAC is the right
kind to get to avoid soy problems or not.

  Soy lecithin has no soy protein in it.

 Soy is not harmful in any way as part of a normal diet.  There is no good
evidence that soyfoods cause diseases.
