Supplements: With Meal or Without ?

I take a bunch of expensive supplements each day. Many are amino acid or
complex molecule based stuff. My question is: should I take these supplements
on an empty stomach (so that they don't mix internally in me with other food
products or other supplements)? Does eating a meal while ingesting these
supplements --such as proline or argenine or lysine or alpha lipoic acid-- do
these become denatured and of no therapeutic value if taken near a meal?

Thanks.

With meal, and with digestive enzymes if you are over 45 or
so.   over 65 ones own enzyme production is off 80% from peak
levels.

The half-life of alpha lipoic acid is 20 minutes.

You have my condolences. :(
