Im curious if anyone notices that ingesting too much
Splenda gives you
gas or other similar problems?

Is it in my head.... or can Splenda do this?

Splenda is just another manufactured chemical. Just get used to eating
food without so much sugar. There are plenty of wonderfully delicious
foods out there that are low in sugars.

That's kind a what Im thinking and wondering.... i.e.
eat natural foods with less sugar.

But can you give me a list if such foods?

Also..... Im beginning to think that even natural foods
that are high in "natural" sugar must be better for me
than all this man made sweeteners (Splenda) that have
no carbs. No?

Example.  I love orange juice.  I looked and frozen
Minute Maid cans label the ingredients as 100 percent
frozen juice with no ADDED sugars.

Surely that must be better to drink then some of these
man made sweetener concoctions. No?

Or maybe I could just mix the Minute Maid really weak
and dilute the natural sugars?

Most foods that aren't processed will have little or no added sugar.
Fresh meats, fruits and veggies. Fresh cuts of meat as opposd to meat
"loafs" like balogna, weiners, etc. I try to minimize pre-prepared
sandwich meats. I use real meat instead, like chicken salad
sandwiches, roast beef sandwiches (on whole wheat or whole rye of
course). Fresh fruits and veggies as opposed to canned stuff, or
worse, that fruit roll-up crap. A lot of canned fruit have a lot of
sugar added. If you can see the part of the fruit where it was
attached to the plant, then it's pretty wel assured that it's good and
healthy. The fresher the better. Fresh eggs are extremely healthy.
Fresh fish is extremely healthy. Fresh lettuces are great, the darker
the green the better. Fresh olive oil and butter are extremely
healthy.

I drink water for the most part and when I want a treat I have a diet
soda. I would rather have a bit of aspartame every once in a long
while than have sugar every day.

I don't understand why people insist on having to have a sweetened
drink every time they have a drink. Water is god's gift to us, and its
free, unless you insist in buying it by the bottle. But it is by far
the healthiest thing you can drink. Yes, even better than those
"sports" drinks, which are just sweetened and salted water.

I avoid the sweeter fruits that have been selectively bred to be
sweeter, like corn and bananas. I also avoid large amounts of potatoes
and starchy tubers. Pretty much everything else goes.

yes I am learning this.... and slowly eating more fresh
natural foods.  Not buying processed foods such as TV
diners any more.

Wow.  Bananas have been bred to be sweeter than normal
in nature?   Didn't know that!

Perhaps you're consuming low-carb products sweetened with Splenda and
sugar alcohols such as maltitol? Sugar alcohols cause gas, bloating, and
other unfortunate intestinal side effects, when consumed in large
quantities. Some might be more sensitive to sugar alcohols than others.
Before blaming the Splenda, blame the sugar alcohols.
