I'm a kid and I'm 15 years old. Belive me, it's no joke. I have a
problem with hair. So 2% solution is only for woman? Am I correct? I
was at the dermatologist and she gave me 2% medicine. Should I change
solution?
PS.: Sorry I'm not good at English :-)

I would call and ask her. It may be that different dosages are used in other
countries. One of the things about Minoxidil is that it lowers blood
pressure (it was only used for hair growth after people who were taking it
notice they grew more hair all over). If two much is absorbed by your body,
it may lower your blood pressure to dangerous levels. So that might be that
the Wikipedia article is wrong and only 2 percent is used.
Anyway, the best thing to do is ask her.

People are different. Learn to accept the way you are. Develop your
strengths.
The effectiveness of Minoxidil is limited. You can spend a lot of
money accomplishing little or nothing -- at this superficial level. Or
you can worry about things that matter.
(Hm, why is it that many think it so cool to shave their heads
completely?)

I doubt it. In the U.S., the 5% minoxidil is marked as being for use
by males only, though I admit I don't know why.

These are my opinions only, but they're almost always correct.

I've been using 2% minoxidil and zinc for 4 months. Effects are
visible. Are better medicines than minoxidil? What would you recommend
me?

I'd recommend you follow your doctor's advice and stick with what
you're doing if it's working.
As far as I know, there's nothing else for women on the market aside
from minoxidil. They won't give Propecia to women. It causes birth
defects.

There's some evidence from randomized trials that 5% works better than
2% in women as well as men (assuming we are talking about androgenetic
alopecia).
