As the alveoli are microscopically small that could explain why you can't
find a resin cast. I suspect that the same applies to capillaries.

Dear Phil,
I have found a lot of pictures showing the lumen of capillaries.
These pictures were scanning electromicrographs of resin cast.
If cappillaries are wide enough to fill them with the material, why not
alveolar space.

I have found a lot of pictures showing the lumen of capillaries.
