Did you read that web page all the way through?
"For adults doses of 300 to 1000 mg are generally taken four times a
day for fever or arthritis, with a maximum dose of 8000 mg a day.[5]
The correct dose of aspirin depends on the disease process that is
being treated. For instance, for the treatment of rheumatic fever,
doses near the maximal daily dose have been used historically. For the
prevention of myocardial infarction in someone with documented or
suspected coronary artery disease, doses as low as 75 mg daily (or
possibly even lower) are sufficient."

There could be several factors ,that would have nothing to do with
family history, as to why your brother has blocked arteries...
Hello,
do yourself a favour and see your physician befor you start chronic aspirin
intake to prevent heart attack. Chronic low dose aspirin intake, is known
to cause several side effects such as stomach bleeding and gastritis. See
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspirin and read the warning and side effect
sections

I don't and take 81 mg enteric coated daily. I haven't seen 20 mg
tablets, but that dose might be less than needed. I take vitamin K to
avoid excessive bleeding when shaving or from other minor scratches. I
stop taking aspirin a week before visiting the dentist or other minor
surgeries.

There are no 20 mg tablets. But I can dissolve 175 mg half tablet in
1000 ml water bottle and drink 1000 ml over 10 days.

I will not take it in high doses. I don't think 20 mg dose is entirely
useless.
BTW, If someone want to do correct health check up, apply for high risk
insurance policy and answer all questions correctly related to health.
Insurance company will tell you which medical tests are required.
I have already submitted blood test, HIV test, electrocardiogram. Now
insurance company want urin test, blood sugar, cholesterol blah blah
blah.
Now I am going to tell them that I do smoke. Certainly they will call
chest x-ray.
Even if they do not pass my 1 million rupee policy, who cares?
I just want to do total health check up.
