Dear all,
I'm a 26yr old male.
My dermatologist has recently prescribed me clindamycin antibiotic
tablets 150g, Rosex Gel and Nizoral Cream for mild acnie and rosacea
eczema.

Can I still drink alcohol whist on this medication?

Its Christmas and I love a few Beers

Merry Christmas.

PS: Would anyone have a tip on the best way to wash my face... eg.. my
dermatologist has told me to use a mild soap but I'm afraid this may
kick off a rash?

Careful with that clindamycin!  You want to read up on the
side effects sometimes associated with it; and if you think
you are experiencing something, followup immediately with
your clinician.

But what I wanted to say was, at your age, maybe you could
take up running?  It takes a year or so of consistent work to
make a runner of yourself, but runner's high is one of the best
there is and you do it yourself not buy it.

Also, see LeShan and LeShan on meditation.  They survey
the many varieties of meditation there are out there.  And like
running, meditation is do-it-yourself, not a thing you buy.

No promises, but if you choose one of these and your acne
problem becomes less, don't be surprised. In any case, if
you get yourself off alcohol, that's *very good.*

Cheers -- Martha Adams
