Hi all,

For about the past 8 weeks, I have been having a constant pain
in my sternum area and slightly to the left of it. it is more like
soreness/burning/cramp like feeling which catches me when I move
suddenly etc. This has slowly got worse over this time. I had cold
like syptoms at the begeinning which went away quickly but not sure if
this is a red herring.

Other Info...

-It hurts when I exhale/inhale all the way.

-It hurts when I lay flat on my back and raise up (like a
sit-up) as the muscles tighten to lift me.

-Certain postures seem to make it worse.

-Feels like a chest wall type issue

-From time to time I have had a burning feeling under the arm pits
also.

I went to see the doctor and had a chest xray which came back normal. I
Also have a
hiatus hernia but I am sure it nothing to do with that as I had a
endoscopy and I am having
no real gerd/reflux issues because of it.

Anyone ever experiances this or have any ideas what it could be or
where to go next?.
