Growing up in a coma

I am doing some research and was wondering if it's possible that when a
new-born baby falls into a coma it can be kept alive and develops over
several years, so literally growing-up while being comatose. Let's
assume there is no harmful damage to the brain in the first place, what
would happen if the child (or even adult) then wakes up? Is this an
impossible scenario and if no, has there ever been a case like that?

Sorry if that topic doesn't fit into this group but I thought I'll give
it a try.

Thanks!

People learn through experience. So the person would still have the same
mental ability as he did when he was last awake. Meanwhile, the rest of the
body would develop. So when he looked between his legs, there would be a
surprise. Shaving would be something new to him. And deordant would be
something he would quickly learn about. And if he wasn't toilet trained
before, he would still not be toilet trained. If he didn't speak, he might
be a 5'8" person who babels.
