hi all, i`d like to have your opinion and idea.
I`m taking sertraline 50mg. Is there any counter medicine that runs
against the collateral effect of excitement?
Thanks

When people have trouble sleeping soundly on SSRIs, it's common to
prescribe a low dose of trazodone (Desyrel) to be taken at bedtime.
Trazodone is from the previous generation of antidepressants.
You might also consider trying a different SSRI. People are very
idiosyncratic in how they respond to different ones. I.e. an SSRI
that is stimulating to one person may be sedating to another, and
vice versa. It's not really possible to predict these things, so
it may take a number of tries to find the best compromise for you.
