Constant need to urinate

I'm a 20-year old male. When I'm done urinating, about 5-6 seconds
later I get the need to urinate again. I can keep it in but after a
few minutes I go again and then it happens again. And again and
again. Sometimes all I get is a trickle, sometimes more than that.
But there is a constant urge to urinate.

Any help? I got this yesterday and it's still going strong. I also
got it about 4-5 months ago but it lasted only an hour.

Hello,
I am not a doctor or an expert related urinary problems. You may want
to do a google search for this disorder

SIADH
or
Syndrome of Inappropriate Antidiuretic Hormone

I should note that some medications can cause this disorder. In addition,
some diseases can cause SIADH.

You should schedule and appointment with your doctor.

Prostate problems can also cause various urinary problems.

I hope this helps,
Jason

The first thing that comes to my mind is VD.

He should see a doctor. There are other causes, like an overactive bladder.

Venereal disease ..but there are a host of other things that can cause
urinary problems ..most likely, because you say you experienced this
before, its just a common urinary tract infection (UTI) which is a
bacterial infection. Drink alot of water mixed with some cranberry
juice and if it doesnt clear up consult your doctor for an
antibiotic/prescription.

Google these two terms:

central diabetes insipidus

nephrogenic diabetes insipidus

Certain medications can also cause this problem.

Probably some type of inflammation anywhere around the bladder
cystitis, prostate prostatitis , or urethra urethritis. STD's are
important to rule out and any history of discharge or soiling of
underwear. Urinalysis and culture do check for white cells and
bacteria. GC and chlamydia probe. Hopefully it's something treatable.
Prostatitis is no fun and can occur in this age group.

I visited a doctor who instructed me to do a test to see if there
is an infection (I think the english term is urine culture.) It
came out negative so he said that it's probably due to something
random, like something I ate. But he said I should continue taking
the antibiotic he prescribed initially (before we got the urine
culture results.)

qwerty,
You have an excellent doctor. Also, you should request a blood test (aka
General Health Panel) and a urine test (aka Urinalysis Screen). Let us
know your Glucose levels and any levels that are outside of the reference
ranges. Also, have your doctor check for symptoms of prostatitis.
