In a country with a rapidly aging population, which
the younger people will be

required to pay for; this fellow gives away 37 Billion dollars without
including a penny for

anti-aging or de-aging research.   This is like spending all your money
on food aid for the

hungry, while spending zero on research for the"green revolution" in
food production.
All the bills for the industrialized countries aging
populations will come due
without scientific research to slow or halt this, see how much money
this leaves the
E.C. or other current foreign aid providers to spend on the third
world.

There are wonderfull people currently working with
the problems of anti-aging

and de-aging,see:

Please show that not a penny will be spent on anti-aging
or de-aging research.  You have given no reason to believe that
your claim is true.

It would be unwise for him to specify some non-optimal allocation
for all time.  This story in Forbes says he's going to have
foundations control it, which seems wise to me.

This is off topic in sci groups and I don't understand why your
complaint about someone else's philanthropy has anything to
do with politics.

Besides, if it's HIS money, who the heck are we to say if maybe he
wanted to give it to the "Training cats to shed less and weave baskets"
foundation.

I mean, my God...what the frell kind of nation have we become, that
someone gives billions of dollars to charity, and we have idiots
kvetching that they don't like what KIND of charities were benefited?

It's maroons like this "adjuster" fella what needs to win the Darwin
Awards this year.  If he's all that hell-bent upset, then maybe HE needs
to make a few billion dollars and give half of it to anti-aging groups.

Is this America, or is this the Soviet Union?  Get a freakin grip!

His gift to the Bill Gates foundation will help educational programs and
health programs for things like immunization. Why to go Mr. Buffet!

If your favoriate cause is not included, too bad. Give to it yourself.

And on top of that he avoids the estate tax that he said should be retained
because the government needs the money.  He also said he wanted his children
to work so he sets up "charities" with one billion grants for the little
darlings so they can work.    Buffet is typical hypocrit that enjoys telling
other what they should do in their lives.   He should be ignored.
