My friend seems to be experiencing Hypoglycemic symptoms. She does NOT
have diabetes... Should she see a doctor? What could be causing this?
She doesn't seem to want to see a doctor but I am concerned... I will
go over what she has told me below

*reoccurring, not just a one time thing
* Hungry
* Shaky
* Blurred vision
* weakness, almost passed out
* nausea
*stomach rumbling
*  abdominal discomfort

She works outside in the heat, and I believe that is where she last had
the problems. After eating something she is fine, but she is having to
do this more (she is eating a breakfast now, before she only ate dinner
and lunch). I am worried about her heath. She says that she will see a
doctor in a month if this keeps happening, is that safe? A reply would
be appreciated.

I had similar symtoms and found that if I started my day with straight
protein before having anything with carbs, it completely elminated the
problem. I used to start with a large bag of dry Cheerios, but then after a
few hours hypoglycemia started, so I tried adding milk, but that did not
help. So, now I start each morning with a hard boiled egg. After that, I can
eat carbs without a problem.

She should see a doctor. A serious illness can be masked by simply
eating all the time to take care of symptoms. No one can diagnose here
and seeing a doctor is the only way.

Would time be of essence? She says she will go to the doctor after she
is home from the trip (she is going on a trip in a week or two for
three weeks), but that is a while away... Would it be safe for her to
wait?
