While taking a shower today, I noticed a very solid (like a tiny bone
or the tip of a toothpick) small growth in the inner wall of my anus.
It is little difficult to find it but it is definitely solid, thin,
and does not cause pain. It is located behind the skin and seems
detached from the outer skin.
I have had itching and bleeding in my anus since many years ago and
the itching and pain disappears as I vary my diet; so I though the
bleeding and itching was from hemorrhoids.
Bus this growth I talk in the first paragraph is new to me. Any
ideas?
Thank you!

Usually, when I have a growth in my anus, it passes when I use the toilet.
Anyway, there is no way we can diagnose this without getting your history
and doing an exam. Fortunately, your doctor can do these things. Please call
him or her and make an appointment.
