We are a small company developing medical software. Some of the
functionalities are depend on the drug information which includes name,
manufacture, dosage, side effect... We can build a drug database
internally, but that requires significant effort and cost. Therefore, I
would like to ask
1. what are available drug reference information system that can be
integrated into our software?
2. Can we take a drug reference CD and electornically transfer into our
database?
Price information of these product are also greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Keith

I'm sure any company with a drug database would be happy to discuss
licensing etc with you. Why not talk with them directly right away.

Keith-
You might try the good folks over at LinuxMedNews or . Try searching
for "Drug Database".
One immediate possibility may be found at drugref.org.
Hope that helps.

Personally, I love the idea of the drugref.org project, but isn't it all
but dead right now? All requests to subscribe/etc to the mailing lists
just bounce, and the website doesn't seem to have been active or
updated since May 2004.
