Relationship between penicillium molds and penicillin allergies?

Is there any connection between the penicillium molds that one finds
in many cheeses and penicillin allergies?  That is, does an allergy to
penicillin imply a sensitivity to these molds in foodstuffs?

I'm allergic to penicillin but I've eaten cheeses (including blue
cheeses) many times without any trace of a reaction that I'm aware of.
I was just wondering how much of a connection there is between the two
(apparently very little).

" hypersensitivity to Penicillium mould bears no relationship with
hypersensitivity to the antibiotic Penicillin."

Thanks.  It's bad enough that I can't take penicillin when I'm sick;
at least I can still enjoy blue cheese.
