I sure hope CNN isn't offended that I'm beating them
to the punch by breaking their Press Release date.

On Sunday, March 25, at 9 p.m., Larry King Live
will host a special two-hour debate -- Evolution vs.
Intelligent Design-- apparently in 17 different languages.

The evolutionists will be represented by three of
the world's foremost proponents of Evolution, as well
as a lawyer commissioned by the Smithsonian and
the American Association of Physical Anthropologists.

They will debate little ol' me, of course.

To make sure the studio floor is level, I will engage
in the debate with one hand tied behind my back and
also will wear a black patch over one eye.

I hope you note that the "Science" of intelligent design requires evolution to
be true. That is, the intelligent design scientists accept evolution but
require the intervention of God at various points.

Also those who claim that if evolution is true, than Christianity must be
false appear to be guided by Satan or some other evil force. These "Uber
Christians" are just setting up Christianity for a fall. Wolves in Sheep's
clothing as Jesus warns.

There is nothing in the Bible that contradicts evolution or the big bang
theory. Suppose God choose to start of the universe as science says today. It
is unlikely He would use particle physics to describe it. More likely He would
use the same teaching tools He used in the New Testament. One of these is the
parable. (No doubt about that as described in Mathew 13.)

If the God of the New Testament used parables to teach, there is nothing to
prove that the same God do not do so in the Old Testament and in particular in
Genesis 1. There is nothing in the parable of Genesis 1 that contradicts
evolution or the big bang.

I have to compliment the Catholic Church for not following the heresy that if
evolution is true, Christianity must be false. They can co-exist.
