Stay Away from Dr. Lorraine Day
Stephen Barrett, M.D.

Lorraine Jeanette Day, M.D., would like you to believe that she has
discovered the answer to cancer. She would also like you to believe
that her experience as a patient has qualified her to give advice
about cancer. She warns people not to trust the medical profession and
claims that all drugs can cause cancer. Her Web site states that "the
entire foundation of conventional medicine is based on ERROR." [1] Her
videotapes state that standard cancer treatment has never cured anyone
and that nobody should undergo chemotherapy and radiation for any
cancer [2]. She claims that (a) all cancers are essentially the same;
(b) the basic cause is weakness of the immune system; and (c) her
diet-centered program cures people by strengthening their immune
system [2]. She states that, "All diseases are caused by a combination
of three factors: malnutrition, dehydration, and stress." [3] She
tells people that, "Drugs never cure disease; they only change the
form and location of the disease." [4] She claims that "sugar is as
addictive as cocaine" and paralyzes the immune system for four hours"
after eating it [4]. She claims that "osteoporosis is not caused by
lack of calcium" and that "the more milk you drink, the more
osteoporotic you become." [4] She spouts long lists of health problems
that she claims are caused by commonly used foods and drugs [4]. She
also advises against vaccination [5] and the use of standard treatment
for Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder [6]. She speaks
eloquently and from the heart, but her tapes contain hundreds of
factual errors and far-fetched claims. In my opinion, her advice is
untrustworthy and is particularly dangerous to people with cancer.

hehe great advertisement
I guess she's more relevantly dangerous for the drug industry;-)
A.K.A. Big Pharma, which is what is dangerous for people with cancer.

alt.conspiracy,sci.med,fr.bio.medecine

stay away for the petro-chemico-pharmaceutical industry...

Sure if you have cancer then drink a glass of orange juice. See how far you
get. Big pharm is so afraid of you.

Teach big pharm a lesson and don't take any pharmaceutical products at all .
That will really teach them.

Look at all the people she has cured of cancer and it's all kept secret by
the pharm companies.

If you get sick then no meds. If you get really sick then they will send you
to a hospital and give you orange juice and that is all. It would save a lot
of money. It's called hospice care.
Let's give hospice care to all and eliminate medications.

Robert, I sometimes think "Quintal" is French for "Carole."  Like her,
he never met a conspiracy theory he didn't love.

yet another blind assumption?
So easy to prove you wrong though, there's much that I  agreed with in
the page I quoted. And I'm talking about the criticizing of Dr Day's
speech. I even tried to cancel my post, but it didnt work apparently.
My first move was the right one finally : quoting it verbatim "stay
away from dr day", leaving the possible irony lingering.

surely a hell of a lot less detrimental than chemo.

?? you assume it's hard to do? Talk around you.

Newsflash : meds only inhibit the symptoms. They dont address the
cause. By inhibiting the symptoms they in fact worsen the health. The
next crisis will be heavier. That's how this business works.

Trouble is, it would actualy make the pharma industry _lose_ a lot of
money. That's why it's not allowed.

Have a try. Or have a look around. It happens. It has been done.
